A lot of effort put into a child's toy, or rather what used to be a child's toy.

That'd be awesome if it were real. I'd try that, with a parachute of course. ;)

I wouldn't, unless I could get a parachute for my bike too.

They should have cut the video a bit cleaner. Nice effect, though.

Budweiser? Either at an American tour venue or Bud was considered an exotic import.

Beer snobbery was not a factor in the 60s.

Not in the US, maybe, but Hendrix was in the UK. I wasn't alive in the 60's, and I couldn't drink until the 80's, but, Europe had way better beer than what you found in the US. I hated beer until I visited Europe.

Not in the USA, it wasn't (at least to anyone unfamiliar with german, belgian, Czech or UK beer)

Then again, calling bud pisswater isn't anything close to snobbery.

I suspect that pic is from an American venue.
I have tasted a lot og German brews I liked but every brew I have been given as an example of what they drink in the UK tasted like absolute ass to me. I would rather drink my own human waste than a warm pint of black Guinness.
