That is disturbing.

Also, it may qualify as tool use.

Too smart. Time to kill them all.
They are also good at hiding and supposedly at escaping enclosures. And they are well known for curiosity. An octopus opened a valve and flooded the Santa Monica Aquarium.

At the Monterey Bay Aquarium (an amazing place and worth a trip to visit it if you are ever in Northern California), they have stories of octopuses hiding out for months, eating the animals that belong in the tank.

Here's an article about the octopus above: http://news.nationalgeographic.com/2015 ... n-science/

Sure, it's personally embarrassing, but I don't see why anyone should considered looking at porn sites a fireable offense for a teacher.

Kirk Douglas turned 99. I did not know he had produced Spartacus. (And Seven Days In May.)

Pictured here with Stanley Kubrick on Spartacus set.
Using an Einstein cross, Hubble Space Telescope watches a supernova as it develops:

Image

Four other images of the supernova were used to calculate where a fifth image might appear based on gravity estimations of the galactic supercluster about halfway in between. Of course at about 10 billion light years from Earth we won't see anything of the pre-supernova star itself, but at least we can gather data of the early stages of a supernova (since nearly all of the time we train telescopes upon a supernova several hours at the earliest after first being spotted).

The pic on the lower right was taken on December 11, 2015.

Power cords for most game systems can be purchased for $20 or less.

and that would take money, time, and a means of getting the cord (driving to a store or credit card for amazon) which is a taller order for kids.
