"Say goodbye to the weirdest border dispute in the world":

Yes, that WAS part of the actual border between India and Bangladesh. There is no clear explanation as to why this was so, but a recent agreement between the countries will help clean up the border although it is proving to be problematic locally as families are being split with some wanting to go to/stay with India and others wanting to stay with/go to Bangladesh.

Oh, BTW: while that inserted map doesn't make it clear, that section of India is actually cut off from the rest of India.
You can see all of the Indian enclave here via Google Maps. The inserted map has only the southern part of the entire enclave. You can scan along this part of the Bangladesh-India border for more such map oddities (though Dahala Khagrabari is the only enclave inside an enclave inside an enclave).

Hmm...I just now clicked on my link and can still read the entire article. This suggests to me that you may be a victim of some sort of cookie which The Post is using to keep track of you.
I've set up Firefox to ALWAYS use private browsing mode and to NEVER accept third-party cookies.
I just turned on "private browsing" in Safari and tried to post a reply and that was totally hosed. I did find that my cookie refusal setting was turned off. Probably trying to get CouchTuner to work.
