Somehow, unlike Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, or the other evil minions from the last administration, I just can't hold a bad attitude towards George W Bush. From everything I've read about him, he seems like he might actually be a genuinely nice guy after all.

Best solution I've heard so far to shielding for astronauts leaving the Earth's protective locale.

From the looks of it, it means that astronauts never leave the planet, they just go to space virtually. Also, that has to be the worst PS job I've seen in a while.

If he was really an ethical or thoughtful person, he would have known the job of presidency was too important for someone like to him to handle properly, and first devoted his life to making the world happy with goofy paintings of world leaders and his pets.

Anybody who thinks that they can properly handle the job of President is already egotistical or delusional.

Astronauts get more tang than they can handle.

My favorite family guy joke is the one where the Wheel of Fortune puzzle says "Your big fat hairy _unt," and the answer is "Your big fat hairy aunt." I giggle every time.

It's so typical of anti-GMO types. They'll believe science when it comes to vaccines, they'll believe science when it comes to global climate change, but they draw the line at believing science when it comes to genetically modified food, despite the fact that they've been eating it all their lives with no ill effects (*cough* corn *cough*).

Not intending to start a debate, just chiming in once again that for some the issue has never been about the safety or quality of the food, but the overall global decrease in biodiversity.

Yes, because McDonald's uses GMO products.

And that is a legitimate concern. Unfortunately, far too many anti-GMOers are in the "it's not natural, so it's bad" camp.

Also, while GMOs have been a contributing factor in the decrease in biodiversity, THAT problem had been around long before direct genetic engineering was even possible.
