The Random Image Thread (keeping it PG-13 at the worst)
I'm wondering about the dude on the roof with the camera. I think this was probably a staged stunt for some purpose. (hopefully to prevent people from doing similar stupid crap for real)
Also, they are filling the hot tub with a fire hose. I doubt very many home owners can get the FD to come by and fill up their hot tubs... so I think it's staged as well.
I'm sorry Dave...

I would guess that too.
I remember a couple summers ago there was a deck collapse somewhere in Queens--people put one of those pools on the deck--
The thing that bothered me was the news was bringing up the landlord's having past violations --even a very good landlord can have them--but never once mentioned that it would be idiotic to have that much weight on a deck.
And Proteus brought the upright beast into the garden and chained him to a tree and the children did make sport of him.

Very cool. I also love the watermark between the guys fingers - apparently this isn't someone's first BBQ.

So, how much do you think a set of those would go for on eBay. $30? $40? Can't cost much more than $10 to make...![]()
Time required is far more than $10. Raw materials certainly were a few bucks at most.
He needs to do something to attach the cord to the brass, perhaps a bit of epoxy. Otherwise a few inadvertent tugs on the cords will pull apart those solder joints and ruin the headphones. Also I'd use a brass tumbler rather than sandpaper to shine it up.
