It's from a film called Penelope. the guy on the other side of the glass is Nick Frost.

I haven't seen this movie, but google is your friend. (ie: peter dinklage eyepatch)

Also, the image is flipped from the film. The clip I saw on Youtube is the reverse of this.

Yup the weight stacks at my gym show similar marks. I always felt like I was back in form when I could comfortably do above average.

I have an induction cooktop like that. If you did that exact thing on an induction cooker, you would not burn your hands. I have slid my fingers onto the surface within 1/8th of an inch of a pot of water at a roiling boil and barely felt any heat.

Now, because of heAt conduction from the steel pot onto the surface, you wouldn't want to move the pot and slap your hand on the space where it was. But I have used a cloth to wipe up a spill on the place the pit was and it wiped the water up right away with just a hint of steam from the heat left behind by the pot.

I love it!
