Hubble Space Telescope's image of the Sun:

In order to "clean" the CCDs of the original Wide Field Planetary Camera aboard the HST, it came with a periscope with a tiny mirror that could be used to reflect ultraviolet light from the Sun. The above is the uncorrected image obtained during this cleansing.
The Wide Field Planetary Camera had been replaced with a newer one which does not require this cleaning step.
The Bad Astronomer has more HST images.
