Crowdfunded anti-paparazzi clothing:

Well, I guess for situations that require flash photography.
The maker also suggests that photobombers could "make a lasting impression" with such (for those who want to literally ruin other people's pics).

The airplane, built in 1944, was decommissioned after serving in the Korean War, then used for target practice in the California desert.
If you use a plane for target practice, and a bunch of volunteers can come along 50 years later and restore it to working condition...
YOU SUCK AT TARGETING THINGS.

Oh how every true!
Ever look at someone and think 'a million sperm and that was the fastest one.'

I would be tempted to pull out the stake.
The way his arms are doesn't make it look like they waited until he was "dead" to stake him (as suggested in the article).
That occurred to me too, but on second thought I think it likely that whoever buried this guy just crossed his arms across his chest.
Nature photographer gets the shot as drunken gorilla punches him:

This is the alpha male of the group the photographer was following.
Normally placid, these gorillas can get drunk while eating bamboo stems which naturally ferments inside their stomachs.
Fortunately this gorilla was immediately distracted by another nearby male who apparently was making moves on this gorilla's females.
Other than a small scar on his forehead the photographer was unharmed.

there is also a B29 in Seattle at the Museum of Flight. Not certain if it is flyable. I mean, it isn't as of a year and a half ago or so... because it was wingless and encased in a white shrink wrap cover.
I'm sorry Dave...
i'd love to poke around inside a b-29, but to fly in one? amazing
there's a lancaster in hamilton, ontario ... it's not uncommon to see it flying over toronto in the summer
it's a big-ass plane and is loud as hell, i can't imagine what a thousand of them in the sky must have looked and sounded like

Isn't Run Like Hell a trap door spider from Australia? the badass one whose fangs can penetrate a toe nail?

This is what i got to poke around in, but they wouldn't let me bring my camera in.

I live in Oshkosh which is home of the eaa so I'll get to see them fly over in formation side by side for free, hehe.
Its easy to know what you are against, quite an honour to know what you are for.

Um, crossing the US-Canadian border (perhaps a second time?) for a delivery to Point Roberts, WA?
