Nevermind, I read the article. Oh just lovely, a completely plastic printable gun action. I bet its inaccurate as hell but doubt that matters much to terrorists.

Terrorists don't seem to have a lot of trouble obtaining traditionally manufactured firearms.

And considering what 3-D printers cost...

A good, clean, untraceable gun that you can toss in a fire after you are done murdering.

Oh, I see. I forget not everybody lives in a city with a huge-ass river.

A fire would be even better since the plastic firearm is destroyed. Tossing it in a river merely hides it and it might be found later.

Saint Paul cops dumped too much of their own dirty laundry in that river to go dredging it.

<edit> I should have said misuse of similar plastic gun - robbery, assault, murder, some sort of mayhem.

If you want to set the bar for misuse as "dude got convicted" you have a bet.
Given the speed of our judicial system, that might not happen in five years. Somebody would have to be arrested for an infraction within one year to expect a conviction in five. If we're betting based on conviction, make that 9 years from today and you have a bet.

Deal

I like that brickwork.

Also - The MBARI (fault mapping geologists) researchers found an old shipwreck off Santa Cruz / Monterey, CA.

That's incredibly dangerous riding a locomotive like that. If his jacket gets caught in some gearing he'll be abruptly pulled off and crushed.

Hah, nice bubbles in the ice pic. Can we get a link to a pic suitable for desktops?

Well yes, however there are similarly stupid possibilities in our modern day. For example don't lean in near a running drill press when wearing a tie or lanyard around your neck.

He was known to "eyeball" many of his stunts --including the one where the house facade falls around him.
In The General there is a part where he is doing a stunt with an actual mortar --fuse lit and everything--he has his head right in front of it and at the right moment, turned it so he got a shot directly at the moving locomotive. One take.
And Proteus brought the upright beast into the garden and chained him to a tree and the children did make sport of him.
