powerboat with retractable hydrofoils, reportedly capable of 80mph

mph?

yep
I'm sorry but I have a hard time believing that speed, especially when its reported in MPH and when that's just a concept drawing.

Thanks for the link. Hmmm, the article says catamarans though and that pic ain't.
Still the idea of using hydrofoils for increased speed is a good one. The retractable part gives me a queasy feeling. Moving parts in sea water are more problematic than not. I'd wait at least a few years for them to work the corrosion / barnacle / other issues out of that system before buying it.

I much prefer my friend's pontoon boat that never goes over 10 mph, thanks. At 80 mph I'd probably spill my cocktail.

Yeah, there's no way that's a single exposure; it's a composite for sure.
What I wonder is: is the inside the same person as the outside?; and what gives me pause is the textbook-perfect colon.
My bet its a CAD drawing with transparency added to show the skeleton and guts. Note the fat body is symmetrical too.

Op Impact is well and truly underway. Arriving in Kuwait and sitting on the tarmac.

This is what a re-election platform looks like.

Probably, unless they drilled exactly where the locate service said to drill.
Even then, if the subway was known to be underneath, they would have had a depth limit imposed on them.
It's easy to go too deep if you have a long tool.
