I'm sorry but I have a hard time believing that speed, especially when its reported in MPH and when that's just a concept drawing.

Thanks for the link. Hmmm, the article says catamarans though and that pic ain't.
Still the idea of using hydrofoils for increased speed is a good one. The retractable part gives me a queasy feeling. Moving parts in sea water are more problematic than not. I'd wait at least a few years for them to work the corrosion / barnacle / other issues out of that system before buying it.

I much prefer my friend's pontoon boat that never goes over 10 mph, thanks. At 80 mph I'd probably spill my cocktail.

My bet its a CAD drawing with transparency added to show the skeleton and guts. Note the fat body is symmetrical too.
