If it turns inland as expected, you're much closer to its probable path, than I.
Though its 'Surf's Up!' around LA for the next few days.

They were creating that image by filming people walking through that area, but had trouble getting just the right take. They finally got it - then that dog abruptly decided to stop and take a human waste.
Fixed it in (very expensive) post.
Aw, he's no fun, he fell right over.

Supposed meteorite strike near airport of Managua, Nicaragua, in the early morning hours this past Saturday:

The crater is about 12 meters across and about 5 meters deep at the center.
There is the basic problem of the size of the meteorite: too small and it shouldn't have survived passage through the atmosphere to make an impact crater, but too large and it should have caused a lot more damage (think of the Chelyabinsk meteor in 2013 which was estimated to have been about 17 meters in diameter and to have produced a mid-air explosion in the range of a half-megaton). My guess is that it will be determined that the meteor was moving "relatively" slowly to the Earth (so in the range of orbital speed or about 10 km per second rather than >20 km per second) which would allow more of the meteor to survive going through the atmosphere and have a relatively small (for its size) impact.
There is also a security problem in that this location is close to an air force base so not everyone is allowed into the area. Reporters have to be escorted to this site.

It can be bought along with a 645DF+ body for $30,995.
Wow, indeed.
