Hah, they lost track of it and can't find it now. They should have never let it out of their sight. Snakes can lay low for days. This may take weeks or months to find again. I'm just very glad there's no way it can slither fast enough to get down to my area in less than a year, given typical serpent behavior.

I saw a snake yesterday. It wasn't big, foot and a half maybe, but I was glad it was dead.
