Having crapped in the woods before, I'm reasonably certain that doesn't pertain to poop.

Mystery object appears then disappears on Titan:

These ethane/methane lakes on Titan are remarkably calm: waves get as high as 1 mm. The object is roughly 12 by 6 miles in size, and it appeared and disappeared over a couple of weeks. Scientists have ruled out that some radar error may be the cause.

Probably a giant turd. All that methane is coming from somewhere after all. Just kidding, I really don't see human waste.

other than city parks… I see no reason not to take a human waste in the woods.

Tides or whatever but there's a lot more 'land' seen in the bottom vs top. Anyway some level is rising and falling.

Returns are brighter in part of the lower one, but the shoreline geometry looks the same.

The brightness anomaly may be a radar artifact.

Titan is tidally locked to Saturn so if you could see through its atmosphere then only one face of Titan can be seen from Saturn. If there were tides on Titan then there should have been a much more dramatic effect on the shorelines especially around the small islands.

When I first glanced at that cityscape with the huge rocks in it that uki posted, my first thought was: "That's a pretty well-done fake."

Sigh--now it's another place that I probably won't visit.

Don't they also put on a big light show every night in Shanghai? China's going through the bright lights phase that US cities used to have.
