I had forgotten how freaking depressing that Frost poem is. Thanks for reminding me... :squint:

That said, that cartoon really does get the essence of it.
I don't see any surfing cows there

eeeeek!

I've had nightmares of similar scenes.

Usually I am walking somewhere--like across the lawn or something, look down see a snake, and then another, and another and realize that there are hundreds all around me.

We need a whole mess of those in this area.
After first seeing this, I checked the local news page, and sure enough there is a story of a truck hitting an overpass.

We've got a lot of parkways around here--designed for automobile use only (no commercial vehicles), so it isn't uncommon for an out-of state trucker, or some dummy with a U-Haul to plow right into one.
I bet this was noisy

lollipop trees on parade?

Though it does remind me of proteins on the surface of viruses and colorized to look sorta like trees.

This reminds me of docks along the Mississippi river. The cottonmouths and other water loving snakes will come out to sun themselves. However I've never seen that many at one time on a dock. Whenever we got close they'd head for the water.

I know someone who did that. Not in a moving van, but in one of these:

That seems low enough to avoid that problem, in anything but the lowest overheads Sean. Where would that hit an overpass?
Based on real world experience I would not be surprised to see someone move such a van with the boom up.
