Because it's the job of a senior level English teacher to teach basic grammar and structure.

Somebody should teach them. Nobody did it right, and nobody cares, it seems.

The person who doesn't care is the student. The teacher took the time to illustrate the problems of a piece of crap that normally would have been immediately round-filed.

They either cared, or realized that this was pure comedy gold waiting to happen.

The whole region is exceptionally high risk for such things. Geologically active and lots of rain.

I thought it was impossible because radiation was too high. I understand that you can survive x radiation for y time, or something like that, but down there was just too much.

The description was that you had to run past the door to keep from getting too much exposure.

Also, I thought it was bigger.

as i understand it the "elephant's foot" is bad but it's actually some radioactive material mixed in with other stuff like glass, dirt, sand, melted metals and stuff like that ... still highly radioactive but it probably won't kill you to get that close if you keep it quick

the bad part is you have to climb through heaps of rubble left from the collapsed structure, and parts of that structure are seriously toxic because they took the brunt of the original explosion
Who said they survived?
