I figure it will get the award for makeup, (making Brad Pitt look like a teenager was cooler than making him look old), and it is obviously a first class production.

Well, technically, that would probably be special effects not makeup. From Wired a couple months ago...
Wired:
CG was the answer: Make a 3-D model of Pitt's visage, fast-forward it five decades, and stick it on the torso of a diminutive actor.

Wired:
glow-in-the-dark powder, which allows a combination of phosphorescent strobes and cheap digicams to capture more detailed facial data

Also, FYI, I am in the middle of watching A Bridge Too Far...

I've been working through the x men trilogy over the last few days. They're fun, but have some continuity issues.

I love how Kitty Pryde changes completely from movie to movie. :squint:
We watched part of The Apostle in class. Maybe we'll finish the movie.

I know! Same with pyro. It's these small details I notice.
Oh, we have also been watching Finding Nemo in German class. Using the German audio with English subtitles.

(Factoid... did you know that all Disney and Pixar movies - esp. animated ones - are given authentic foreign audio before foreign release? All of Pixar's movies that have been released in Europe has audio tracks for the major European languages by similar European actors!)

The Wedding Banquet. Gosh. That movie felt like watching my cousin get married.

On the bright side, getting paid to watch/screen this movie is awesome!

Aye, saw Pride and Glory a few days back. Good show.

Death Race was watched last night. Not bad, much better than some remakes that have happened.
