Yeah, it was a good Cohen brothers movie, but not a great Cohen brothers movie, which makes it overall pretty darn good.
The visuals don't hold up.

Blade Runner. My friend is starting his new goal of working through all 100 on the AFI list. This was 96.

Sure. I'll probably watch it tomorrow night.

I gave it 2/5 stars. Worth seeing, but only once.

Hmm..good to know. I'll probably just add it on the netflix queue then. Thanks.
I saw Run Fatboy Run in theater. I liked it. I'd give it a 3/5. Nothing special, nothing amazing, but a good feel-good movie at the end. Besides, Sean Pegg is always FTW.
Righteous Kill. It was okay. I wasn't amazed.

Oops. I was thinking of "Shaun of the Dead," which I have never seen, so it always translates in my head into "Shawn of the Dead," which makes me think Simon Pegg's name is Sean Pegg.

What'd you think of that? I thought it was an ok movie, but it iirc it got some bad reviews.

I just saw most of the Jackie Brown movie on TV last weekend. Man, Samuel Jackson was such an evil bastard in it. Interesting to see DeNiro playing a dumass.
Aw, he's no fun, he fell right over.

I liked it. I really did. Could use a sequel, or prequel. Explain more about Jumpers and Paladins, where they come from, etc.
Reviewers are idiots (IMHO

It's an action/sci-fi/fantasy movie, not Citizen Kane.

Definitely needs some more story to flesh out the whole thing, it just started and then ended without really telling us anything except about one person.

I kept thinking; "This concept has some pretty cool potential"
But I wasn't sure that the director knew what angle he wanted to present to us. Oh well, I'm sure that there might be room for a sequel or better yet a prequel as previously mentioned.
.. and the last move I saw was Arthur and the Invisibles. Wonderfully cute!

Forgetting Sarah Marsahall. After the initial surprise of seeing Jason Segel fully nude so early in the movie, i thought it was good.

Conversation(s) with Women. And right now, Top Gun for the hell of it.
Bad Wolf
Just saw Iron Man. Downey was great, but the lack of a real ass kicking villain almost killed it for me.
I liked it, since I was expecting a live version of the cartoon (which is moronic)
