What was the last movie you saw?
Kick-Ass and Edge of Darkness.
Loved Kick Ass for what it was. Edge of Darkness... it was ok, but not great. I wonder if I can find the original UK miniseries somewhere.

I'm sorry Dave...

I watched the Matrix last night.
Only thing that doesn't make sense, when they freed neo, how come he didn't have a big old outlaw biker beard? When he was a copper top, did the machines shave him?
Just rented resident evil and resident evil apocalypse. Will watch them this weekend.

I hacked the planet.
The resident evil movies could have been cool, but about the only similarity to the games is the awesome acting.

I'm watching Angels & Demons. It's bad.
The visuals don't hold up.

In his short life he'd only ever known
panic, fear, pain, darkness, pandemonium
in this hell that was his home
and 4th quarter expectations expedited their demise.

Watched 'The Dark Knight' again yesterday. That movie keeps getting better to me.
Watching Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief. What a piece of crap.

For Percy Jackson to exist, somebody has to have said, "let's make it like Harry Potter - a child protagonist in a fantasy setting - but let's make it more accessible to children."
Think about that.
Now: are you surprised it was human waste?
No, we rented it for the kids. But it was even worse than I anticipated. We watched Clash of the Titans, afterward. Which is also human waste, but entertaining human waste. And less offensive to persons somewhat versed in Greek mythology.
At least tomorrow, I'll get to see a really great film.

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time
I don't know, entertaining enough. The lead lady had a great presence.

I suppose I could watch it because of the NC setting and Dirty (or somewhat tan) Harry...
But, yeah, I'd probably have to tuck in the hammer for the night.
Aw, he's no fun, he fell right over.

No.
Actually, I just think it's a very beautifully done film. Ultimately, I think the story is more about the kids and their relationships than about Francesca & Robert.
Also, my roommate (who is more or less off her feet for the next two and a half months) is a love story freak. Since I can't stand romantic comedies, this was a compromise.
We had a 90-minute conversation this morning after I asked her, "so, if you were Francesca, what would you do?"
It was also $5 at Wal Mart.
Is this the room mate you tried to kill with your driving?
I'd think you'd pretty much watch anything she might want to watch!

Yes. Which is why last night I sat through "The Cutting Edge."
She was wasted because you never find out if they actually win the gold medal or not.

Just finished 'The Road.'

The machines would pour Nair into the pink goop.

Scott Pilgrim Vs. the World. Totally fun! I love the video game vibe. And of course the fact of Toronto being Toronto for once.
I highly recommend it!

Was watching part of Avatar earlier today.

Not a movie, but I've been watching a box set of Studio 60 On The Sunset Strip in it's first and only season and it's so stick fiddling good I want to cry.
Has 30 Rock really been any comparison to it?

I love 30 Rock, but never heard of the other show. But I love Aaron Sorkin's work and you make it sound great, so I'm gonna check it out. And possibly subscribe to your newsletter.

You're too young to watch Avatar.
It will rot your mind, and cause you to do violent things, and want to boff blue skined women who aren't human.

I liked it!
