Saw it last weekend. Liked it, recommend it for monster movie fans.

What it is: an "update" if you like, of the good old fashioned, no-nonsense, monster movie. The twist is that it's told from the point of view of someone with a home video camera. The massive,,, whatever the heck it is, does a bang up job on New York city, but you are never told what it is, where it came from, or why it's so cheesed off.

Warning: There have been some complaints that the constantly moving camera, on a big movie theater screen, has made some people motion sick. If you get motion sickness, consider this.

I have a theory that says those people are stick fiddling kitties.

What's the hook now? Is the sequel going to be filmed entirely by security cameras?
Maybe it's unlikely rampage towards DC?

what i don't understand, is how someone under extreme duress keeps on filming, i mean eventually you would think to yourself "Holy fiddlesticks! i need to lose the camera and get the hell out of here!"
If I already barely escaped death and knew my chances for survival were extremely slim, I'd keep filming.

First time some human waste flew right by your ear because you had your head out filming, you'd decide it would be OK to finish the film in "post".
