Adam Savage makes his Ultimate Duck Bomb.

Note: this is not a repeat of this but is an "improved" version of it.

WABC at the start of the 1965 blackout.

Dan Ingram was on the air as the power began failing. At first the usual 60 Hz AC power was slowed to 58 Hz and then to 51 Hz before the station’s power went completely out, and a lot of the station’s equipment used that AC power to set its own timing.

And 60 years later, the guy in the control tower has been replaced by a tiny computer in the dash that seems is best at getting you lost.

Taking advantage of the huge Project Apollo Archive, the Planetary Society put together all of Apollo 11’s pictures in one chronologic video.

Not sure about posting this here, but do note that nothing particularly graphic is shown.

Edited surveillance video taken inside the restaurant that was the center of that Waco biker shootout.

Policewoman defused tense situation where teens refused to disperse with dance-off.

In DC the cops were called because some teens were having a fight at a park. When some of them refused to leave, someone nearby started playing music and the young woman seen in the video started to dance in response. The policewoman said that she could dance better.

Video was removed, probably by her boss, a man.

Actually I'm pretty sure that the video was posted by one of those teens (possibly the sister of the dancing woman?) so I'm not sure why it was taken down (maybe to be sold?).

I see that there are other "versions" on YouTube like this one with much lower viewer counts and essentially being ads for other things.

Wow, that's really pretty good. And GWAR fully makes that song as dirty as it should be.
