It's only there so the hotel can jack up your room rate for having one - not to actually use. After all, if you actually used it, and forgot to unlock it, they would need to get it open without a jack hammer or blowtorch...

Seriously, while this looks like a bit of post-apocalyptic fun, they could have seriously messed someone up with that. Even looking into that can would have permanently blinded any one of them in seconds.

Photographer captures video of seal surfing on back of humpback whale. He suspects that the seal was opportunistically taking advantage of the pod’s fish hunting strategy of surrounding fish with bubbles to compact them together near the surface before eating them.
