"Secret Agent Man" was used as the theme song for "Secret Agent", the US title for the British series "Danger Man" which starred Patrick McGoohan and was shown in the UK from 1960 to 1968 with a break in 1963 due to lack of financing. It aired in the US about a year after first running in the UK with the first season as "Danger Man" and subsequent seasons as "Secret Agent".

It was partly because McGoohan was so closely identified with this series that he parlayed his fame into making "The Prisoner" although in interviews McGoohan said that the title characters of each series were not related.

Genesis In Concert [1973]
Quote:
There are just a handful of film clips documenting the Peter Gabriel era of Genesis. The 60-minute film "'Genesis' In Concert"[1973]* was filmed over two days at Shepperton Studios. The film was distributed in 16mm format for showings at college campuses and industry functions. Though dodgy, low-quality bootlegs circulated for years, in the early 00's an original print was obtained by The Genesis Museum, digitized and released as a DVD to fan circulation (this transfer was even utilized by the band for official release). Now 10 years later than same print has been scanned at 2k on a Spirit Datacine and synced with a new soundtrack.

A magical moment: a student at a lecture given by Billy Joel asks if he could accompany Joel on the piano playing "A New York State of Mind", and Billy Joel says "OK.".

As Billy Joel says at the end: "That's Michael Pollack. Remember that name: Michael Pollack. Nice going, Michael--the guy's got chops."

Chops?

Balls!

Well, that too, but as can be seen on the various talent-based "reality" shows or at your local karaoke bar many people have the balls to get on a stage although unfortunately not as many have the chops.

I like it, but it's fakery. Many have pointed out that Jeff didn't do the driving, and the dealership guy was an actor. I guess it was intended to fool everybody long enough to have an impact, but we're getting better at fact-checking.

I can't wait for the stories (and videos!) of people pulling that stunt in real life. It helps if they wreck.
Two different perspectives on Star Wars. The tension between world views is palpable.

Tanner Twitch Paxman. A teen that got his wisdom teeth out and his father caught it all on video after the kid woke up. It's pretty funny.
