The most I could find for the rest of the season is that it's still happening sometime this year.

Can't wait to see it! My grief at there being no Christmas episode was somewhat ameliorated by the Christmas Discovery episode's die hard homage.

My kids and I just binged Jodie Whittaker's first season last week.

Like Ms. Whittaker, but I had been avoiding Doctor Who because the writing in recent years had gotten so bad and I hadn't heard much good about recent seasons either.

Well, I loved her as the Doctor and enjoyed her companions too. She's quickly becoming one of my favorites. I can't wait to watch season 12 and then catch this latest episode. Hated the Torchwood spinoff, but love me some Captain Jack!

That's weird.

I loved Torchwood, and liked a lot of Doctor Who(except I was getting really annoyed with Peter Capaldi's episodes, although not with him personally). With Jodie Whittaker, it seemed like there were way way too many companions, and The Doctor wasn't even really the main focus of the show. I stopped watching after I think the third of her episodes.

I loved most of Torchwood. Children of Earth was fantastic, but I wasn't that keen on Miracle Day.

I didn't like Torchwood after they killed off a lot of the characters I liked and brought it to the U.S.. It was kind of a throwaway show at that point, but before that, it was good.

Just watched it. It was... OK. Whittaker is phenomenal, but the writing was hamfisted and the pacing felt flat. I'd give it a C for just satisfactory.

I'm really looking forwards to seeing them dig into The Doctors past now.
