I dunno. HBO has millions of subscribers. What does CBS online have? 6? 7?
Not even duct tape will fix stupid, but it can muffle the sound.

I understood it was to be online-only. This has changed?

Star Trek: Discovery will debut Sunday, Sept. 24 (first on CBS, then shifting to CBS All Access streaming service; Netflix internationally).
From the linked article. May have been added later, I was too busy trying to come up with a good "suck" joke to read it.
Aw, he's no fun, he fell right over.

I've gotten out of the habit of scheduling time to watch TV shows, so I'll probably miss it on CBS and individual networks hosting their own streaming services wastes me off (what do they think Hulu is for?). Still don't have Netflix.

The whole idea of a TV schedule seems hopelessly anachronistic to me.

Wow. There are people out there who are titling this as "Star Trek: Feminist Lesbian Edition".

Well... my approval of that depends on whether or not there is decon gel.

Snowflakes who can't deal with non-white-male protagonists suck.

Okay by me, but can we please have the miniskirts back? I mean, this is further back in time, so they should be even shorter.

No, they would be 50s skirts instead of 60s skirts

Ya, I tend to think of the whole alt-right thing as being the bitter, 40 year old virgin club.

The movies were GOOD
And this series happens in the original timeline anyway, 10 years before the original series.
But I'm not telling you to pay for it... if you don't want to...

The 2nd one was an improvement, but the 1st was a blasphemous pile of human waste in which Kirk is screwing every chick in the dorm while partying to the Beastie Boys. It was stick fiddling STUPID. I'll probably never watch the third. I can't take any more heartache in the age of Trump.

Star Trek is supposed to appeal to nerds: It's supposed to have a higher message of hope that appeals to our inner spirit of justice. It's not supposed to be a suspenseful action packed adventure populated by everyman approved demigods just like every other superhero flick.
