An excellent video from my favourite Beatle.

Not to sound mean spirited, but if I had the option to trade Paul for George I would do it in a minute. McCartney hasn't done anything really original or good in the last 14 years, and I bet George would have done some awesome stuff in those years.

Everybody should
Yeah. Saw it on HBO when it came out. It's wonderful. Love Scorsese.

Nah, we need a site that plays music videos from 30 years ago. The mid-90's were not a great time for music videos.

I like the music. In fact, these days I've been running that site in the background just to listen to music. I have heard many songs I liked that are new for me.

There's playlists of 80s music videos on youtube.

I'm not necessarily talking about the music - there were some great songs in the 90's - but rather the videos. This was the period when MTV decided they would rather do stupid reality shows than play, you know, music videos. I still remember the first one - "The Real World". Which, of course, wasn't real, and was crappy to boot.

Some of my favorite GnR songs are from the early 90's, and they were one of the few bands who still put a lot of effort into their videos. (Who can forget November Rain?)

In honor of Adele's new album coming out (Yes, I'm a fan!) here's a live performance i absolutely love.

And for those that haven't heard the first track released off her new album, here it is. If this is an indication of what the rest of the album will be like, holy moly it's going to be good!

John Hiatt - Marlene

Two nights ago I heard him play it just like this in a show with Lyle Lovett.
Both of them only had acoustic guitars and it was fantastic.
