TikTok video from Ritz Crackers showing what the serrated edge of their crackers are for.

no, they're not

video looks filmed in a kitchen, where there are KNIVES made out of STEEL

Admittedly a Ritz Cracker wouldn't be usable for anything harder to slice like a hard cheese or a stick of salami, but NOW having watched that, would you bother to get out (then afterwards wash then put away) a knife?

I'm getting the knife before even opening the crackers box. And it would be a table knife because rits go better with something you can spread: cream cheese, cheese whiz, peanut butter, nutella...

If I'm too lazy to get the knife and then wash it, then I can break those thin slices of cheese down to size by hand. Or would if I could still eat cheese (I'm allergic to dairy now. Not life threatening, but the effects are not very enjoyable sigh I liked cheese)

Some bears have learned to open car doors, steal stuff they can't use.

Reportedly the bag that the one bear carried off contained bottles of cleaning supplies.

Being a suburban kid I almost AUTOMATICALLY lock my car's doors whenever I park it even if only for a few minutes.

Of course the next step in bear knowledge in the vulnerbilities in cars is to learn that they can break the glass, in the case of side windows using just muscle power. The noise of the shattering will scare away some, but they will find out they can then push down the remaining safety glass to get to whatever smells yummy inside.

"almost"?

I want ALL doors locked with me inside ANY car, parked or moving.

One of these days, those bears won't just take stuff inside the car...

Also, bear: don't need? you don't know what I need.

And, how long until some stupid thieve, or maybe even some "influencer", tries to break into a car wearing a bear costume?

The only time I leave my car doors unlocked is when it's in the garage. Otherwise, I always lock my car doors - even if I'm just popping in somewhere. It's become as much of a habit as using my seat belt.

Angry Mob [of Meth Heads] Terrorizes Family Falsely Accused Of Stealing Car

Lessons to be learned here:
1) Always lock your doors when you get in. Don't wait for your car to do it for you.
2) If a crazy meth head starts pulling this crap, try to leave peacefully (which this gentleman attempted to do)
3) If said crazy meth head stirs up the rest of the local meth heads, and one of them looks like he is about to pull a gun, you are now legally authorized in nearly every state in the US to plow his ass over. (deadly force is reasonable)
4) If one of the crazy meth heads opens your car door to pull you out, you are now legally authorized to plow the meth heads over (see #1 and #3)

This man used a level of restraint with these people that is saintly. It also reminds me that, as a white person, I will never know what it is like to be black in the US.

Video: Gilbert Gottfried reads the Bene Gesserit Litany Against Fear from Dune.

NSFW (language) because Gottfried attaches a joke from "The Aristocrats" to the end.

"What did I just witness?".

Reportedly the driver of the airborne car walked out of the hospital after being treated for minor injuries. The woman was driving on the wrong side of the highway at up to 100 MPH when she took an on-ramp and failed to brake for the sharp turn near its end.

Partly caught in survellance video in this local news report.

"This fashionable bike lock does not slow down the Lockpicking Lawyer".

To be sure: the Lawyer does use a custom-built pick to unlock this bike lock.

JAMBINAI: Tiny Desk (Home) Concert

At its heart, JAMBINAI's music mixes elements of metal, noise and Korean tradition. There's full-on distorted guitar, bass and drums, but also a haegeum (a fiddle-like instrument), a piri (a type of flute), a taepyeongso (a reed instrument) and a most appropriately named instrument, a geomungo (a giant Korean zither). We also hear some delicate vocals in the mix.

Don't let the description scare you. It's a very... ambient music kind of thing, could be great soundtrack music for some movie. They're great.

A TikTok video showing how some guys chased out a bear which had become trapped in a car.

In replies to this, the poster said:

1) bears are smart.

2) they were alerted by the honking of the car's horn at 7 am (they had been out the previous night to past 4 am).

3) there was thousands of dollars of damage within the car.
