Write a school report about the latest Wii sensation? One Minneapolis teacher is using video games to teach middle schoolers a variety of skills. And other educators want in on the fun.

As a person who once wrote a college term paper on the myths and symbols in the Legend of Zelda, I think this is fantastic.

Anyway, just thought I'd share a media story about kids and video games that's positive. :)

All children should program their own robots before the age of 10.

In a future time
Children will work together
To build a giant cyborg

Robot Parade
Robot Parade
Wave the flags that the robots made
Robot Parade
Robot Parade
Robots obey what the children say

There's electric cars
There's electric trains
Here comes a robot with electric brains

Robot Parade
Robot Parade
Wave the flags that the robots made
Robot Parade
Robot Parade
Robots obey what the children say

Well, mine was not automated. And it was in sixth grade, so however old I was.

Some sort of science fair thing. The majority of my class competition was people who thought it was innovative to separate things using plastic baggies stapled to boards, but got As because they did their paperwork.

I wound up with a C or somesuch because I spent so much time on the actual project instead of keeping a log of the process.

I used RoboWars back in the day. There's no Mac version anymore, and the Windows version sucks (although it runs in DarWINE)

And Creation Science is why it's important.
