I didn't see how much the games cost on Nintendos site. They just points. Anyone have any idea how much the downloads of NES games cost?

Dollar a point. A ten point game is therefore $10. :)

I think the idea is that you have to pay for the points so your kid can't just download a bazillion dollars worth of VC games while your back is turned. I think.

You can buy points right there on your Wii.

Oh, ok thanks.
Dollar a point?

I'm confused, I thought it was 100 point increments made a dollar. 2000 point card at Wal-Mart = $20. NES game, 400 points = $4.

All told, I wish companies would stop doing this.

Christ.

It's $0.99 = 80 points.

I thought it was an obtuse number that required you to spend thousands to use up all points...

Nintendo sells 2,000 Wii Points for US$20 in the USA,[7]. Prices in other markets are somewhat higher: €20 in Europe, £14.99 in the UK, AU$35 in Australia.[8] Japan is cheapest, at 1,000 points for ¥1,000 ($8.46)[9].

I bought a game for 10 bucks, poorly remembered it as 10 points. Crud.

Sorry, Justine. :heh:
