Cool, but will it come with a Rickenbacker controller?

That would be cool!
It would have to have a bass line, wouldn't it?
One thing about it, though. It won't have "Rock Band" anywhere in it. It'll operate the same as Rock Band, but Apple Corps demanded that the tracks wouldn't be downloadable content or rippable into Rock Band or bring other songs into it, etc. It's a walled garden according to documentation so far.

I don't know if I can stand a game made up of just Beatles songs.

Really? Whelp, guess I'm not buying it.
I know, right?

I've even considered buying the AC/DC pack because I can either get the achievements by themselves or rip the tracks I want to my hard drive to play in Rock Band 2.

Not having that flexibility makes me leery.

At least I'd know all the tunes.

QFT :D
Guide button on the bottom?

SO there. That whammy looks solid, too.
That guitar is the best fake plastic guitar I've ever owned.

Start button and guide button even have to be intentionally pressed to set 'em off. It's great.

I saw a real wood body guitar modified to be a Rock Band controller. It was at Big Lots for ~$50.

Yeah, I know. I'd buy a real guitar.
You'd be better off, anyway. I thought $200 was pushing it for the Logitech one, damn the quality of it.

And Logitech also has this:

In which case I feel anyone that's actually in the market for one ... uh, why not get one that can double as an actual electronic kit?

Which you pretty much need in order to not destroy your set on some songs:

WARNING - song is human waste
