FALSE ALARM, EVERYBODY!
You can still order an iMac with 32GB. What's changed is the configurator tool on the Apple Store web site. The new interface fails to make it clear that you must first select the model with four Thunderbolt ports and you must also first select at least 512GB of storage ...

Mac OS turns 25
I saw a screenshot of someone playing Diablo 2 on the OS X Beta; and at that point I knew I needed a Mac. So; I've been along for the ride the entire time. Don't regret it one bit either.
Cars
The weirdest thing happened to me on Sunday. A Ford Ranger trophy truck tried to tailgate my VW alltrack home on Sunday night, but couldn't keep up with our bone-stock 1.8T off the line.
The weird thing is that it was Sunday night at 7:15PM, I was going 50 in the right lane on a road with a 50MPH ...

I’ll be interested to see what happens if/when Chinese cars finally start getting sold there. We’ve had a lot of issues with them rusting here, despite Australia being a fairly warm climate where we have no reason to salt the roads unlike you guys. Even cars from the 90’s here still look just ...

LLMs running locally based on your own data could be quite useful; and can't really be considered plagiarism either. I know we have our own internal one at work that is trained exclusively on our own data which is mildly useful.

The Prelude is also not long for the world though, it basically doesn't sell.
Forbes says it's meeting sales targets. But, not like I have the means to splurge on a car I would only use occasionally. I really miss driving fun vehicles.

So, the car on the left was my daily driver from 2009 until late 2022 - a 2007 Subaru Legacy GT Spec.B. I still have her, she's a garage queen now. Plans are to never let this one go.

Nope, but I have tried lots of time ha ha. The blue pieces are:
2 coats filler primer
1 coat gloss black
2 coats silver
3 coats blue
2 coats clear coat
I give each coat at least 2 hours to dry… so you can see it takes some time.

Time Machine to a Synology for local backups, Backblaze for cloud backups. Select files/projects are backed up a third time (coding goes to GitHub, photos are backed up to iCloud, etc). Two is one and one is none™.
