I still remember how exciting it was. I had a tray load iMac that ran it, if somewhat slowly. I still have it (though the CRT takes a few minutes to warm up), though around 15 years ago I formatted it and reloaded it with OS 9, and have since had it as a dedicated OS 9 only machine.

I run Ubuntu. It works, its reliable, and does everything I need without getting in the way.

I’m curious about it, but none of my machines have anywhere near the horsepower lol

Ran the update on Mum’s iPad today when she came for lunch. For whatever reason it rebooted again and had another go at installing the update after the first attempt, not sure if thats normal or because Mum’s iPad is almost out of space.

Thanks, just passed this onto my Mum, she’s still using an iPad Air 2. Its old, can’t run some apps, and can’t render some websites properly anymore but for the most part it still does most of what she needs, everything else she can do on her iPhone

I’m pretty sure 001 is one of the few issues I still have, though in pretty poor shape as I just about read the print off it as a kid/teenager. Definitely still have the Cover Disc.

Looks interesting, might have to try it. I still have my G5 I bought in 2013 for $50 with the free Adobe CS2 that they gave away a few years back, its old but it still suits my needs on the odd occasion I need to do image editing.

I think thats a lot of us, I know I’ve grown up and matured a lot over the years too, still slightly full of shit though (and extremely online)

Ahhh yes, the G3 AIO, aka the ugliest Mac ever. That said as an Aussie if I had the opportunity I’d still pick one up given they were only sold in US/Canada, and only to education customers
