Way way back in the day, I tried running Darwin without the macOS GUI on top of it. It was really interesting, and I remember liking the mascot very much.
Apple would probably shy away from that now, for fear of being associated with demons.

Had Jonathan Frakes sing Happy Birthday to me on my 60th (thanks to Cameo and a couple friends with money)
I think this is one of the coolest aspects of all.
I am just so impressed with how fast and stable and Mac-native Helium has felt, and how it passes these tests:

It took A LOT of extensions to get Brave to randomize the data used for fingerprinting.
I'm not familiar with those. Do you know of video for what they do?
It's terrifying when it seems like a phone isn't going to start.
Oh dear Lord.
So dumb.
So dumb.
Tree-style tabs aren't quite the same as normal vertical tabs.
They let you see which tabs were opened from another page, so if you've been doing a long search that required searching through several tabs, you can then visually see which ones can safely be closed.
This timeline just keeps getting weirder and weirder.
Res, I mean this as sincerely as I possibly can.
I used to have cats, and I loved them more than I can say. I absolutely love reading about your experiences fostering cats. Thank you so much for sharing these!
Oh, that's cool!
Thank you!
I’ve definitely heard of cream cheese wontons.
TRUST ME ON THIS.
Go to a restaurant supply store. The equipment you get there will be so many steps above anything you’d get from the typical places. You’ll wonder why you haven’t done it before.
I like that!

I came dangerously close to making it to high school not knowing that GUI-based computers existed.
*Mac OS X turns 25
I remember beta testing the original, and how much I disliked so many aspects of it. It’s gone through a lot since then, some good changes, and some bad ones.
I think the changes tended to be more positive while Steve Jobs was still alive.
Because it’s easy.
Where about in New Mexico?
You can use Docker to run it, and it’s pretty simple.
Sinners.
Just got back.
Very much recommend if you haven’t seen it yet.
Very cool. Congratulations to her, and to you for finishing and improving your time.
Oh my God.
I just.
I just can’t.
When I was on the east coast, I used to garden so much. I would grow mint, cilantro, zucchini, basil, and TONS of tomatoes. I miss that, and hope to be able to do it again. It’s so dry here.
I’m so sorry.

I wish that it was easier to have a Linux distro that had menus along the top edge of the screen.
And I don’t mean this "faking it" stuff by having certain apps with menus there and certain ones with menus in the windows themselves.
I want consistency in at least the basic UI concepts.
That would be a fair point if true.
Very nice! I use a number pad too much, but I definitely appreciate the simplicity.
8GB of RAM is fine if you’re buying a computer and using it in the past.
Apple ALWAYS screws over their low-end customers. Especially on new products.
Their goal is NOT for it to be usable. Their goal is that you buy it, spend a while with it, realize it’s too slow, and then buy another better one.
